Delivery : Bug Triage

Bug triage should happen on a regular basis within the sprint cycle to ensure that there is an accurate view of the current bug backlog. When bugs are logged, they are created at a status of new and placed at the top of the bug section of the product backlog to reflect their need to be triaged.

During triage, they are assigned a severity and priority, ultimately priority determines their relative delivery order.

While by default, the bugs are given an estimate of 0.5 days, and the software engineers are not necessary at bug triage meetings, it is worthwhile to bring them any bugs that look particularly complicated in case the estimate to fix is considerably larger.
